Agenda Themes

Innovating across disciplines

The first session of this year’s forum is dedicated to appreciating how data science has become a driver for exploring and exploiting data-driven disruptive innovation and digital transformation. Top female experts from diverse backgrounds and disciplines will provide their viewpoints on the current and future state of affairs.

Innovating across mindsets

The second session is focused on the role of women data experts as leaders in the field – whether driving the development of blockchain initiatives for a bank or leading scientific teams in the battle against COVID-19. Becoming a leader is never an easy task – whether a PhD student, an entrepreneur or a seasoned academic/professional, female data scientists must move across stereotypes and mindsets.

Innovating across borders

The third session is about the world view of data science, through the eyes of female experts who join us from across the globe. Does local culture play a role in how women engage in technological disciplines, such as data science? How do international collaborations help them? How would they advise young female talent to engage with data science? To find answers, join us for a journey across borders.
